Military Tuition Benefit

Military Tuition Benefit for Non-North Carolina Residents

For students entering or attending North Carolina public colleges or universities NC law provides that a member of the armed forces who does not qualify as a resident for tuition purposes may be eligible to be charged tuition reduced below the out-of-state rate if the individual is abiding in North Carolina incident to active military duty and that duty is performed at, or from, a duty station in North Carolina.
